Making the Headlines

The Afram Plains Area Superintendent, Apostle Peter K. Brown, the Presbytery and the entire members of The Apostolic Church –Ghana, Donkorkrom Local Assembly, as part of their social responsibilities, made a donation to the Afram Plains Presbyterian Hospital Orphanage at Donkorkrom on Sunday 9th March 2014.
The items donated included assorted food items, bags of charcoal, tubers of yam, bags of beans and others valued at GH¢500.00.

Mr. Emmanuel Abebrese, has made a donation to the Apostolic Academy School at Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region.
The items included laptops, printers, speakers, projectors, books and teaching aids on CDs and DVDs.

Anon - governmental organization (NGO) has been established by the Akatsi Area of the Apostolic Church – Ghana in the Volta Region. The NGO which is named the Apostolic Relief and Welfare Foundation (ARWEF) was established following the approval of the National Council of the Church.
The NGO was inaugurated by the Vice President of the Church, Apostle Peter Oko Mankralo at the College of Education, Akatsi.

The Pastors Wives of the Ash –Town District of The Apostolic Church – Ghana, Kumasi Area 'A' have made a donation to the District office.
The items included a computer, an HP Printer, and a centre table. The donation was made in collaboration with the Area during a five-day revival with the President, Apostle E. N. Abrebrese. It was supported by the Britwum family of the Church in Kumasi.

As part of their social responsibility, the Women's Movement in the Nsawam District of The Apostolic Church – Ghana, Nsawam Area paid a visit to the Orthopedic Training Centre at Adoagyiri – Nsawam. The women were led by Apostle Joseph N. Tetteh, Nsawam Area Superintendent and Deacs. Dorothy Ampah, Local Leader.

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, has presented a citation to Pastor( Rtd) Daniel K. Saforo of the Apostolic Church – Ghana. This presentation was to appreciate his contribution to the formation and sustenance of the GPCC throughout his life, which they believe could not be easily forgotten but requires mention at all times. The Asafo Sub-Area Head of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, Pastor Joseph Augustus Eshun, has laid the foundation stone for the on-going construction of the Oduom Mission House in Kumasi.
The Oduom District's foundation stone laying ceremony was held during the climax of the 21 Days Prayer and Fasting service at Oduom Central Assembly on 26th January, 2014.
