Making the Headlines

Sister Alice Bediako, a member of the Kaneshie Assembly, has donated 4 bales of used clothing to the church to be distributed to the Missionary Fields and other less deprived areas of Ghana.

She made this donation at a short ceremony at the National Headquarters of the church.
Sister Alice Bediako, has since 2011, donated a total of 14 bales of used clothing to the church for distribution to the less privileged.

The President of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, Apostle E.N. Abebrese, has unveiled the foundation stone for the construction of the Dansoman Central Temple.

Apostle Abraham Ofori-Kuragu, the General Secretary of the Apostolic Church Ghana, has urged Christians to cherish the presence of God, since it was necessary to keep them under His protection.

The General Secretary was speaking at the Leavers’ Service of the KNUST chapter of APOSA at the Katanga Dining Hall on Sunday, 22nd April, 2012.

The President of the Apostolic Church Ghana, Apostle Ebenezer N. Abebrese, has urged Christians to have implicit hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Speaking at the Burial and Memorial Service of the late Deaconess Elizabeth Ama Dogli at the Yendi Temple of the church, the President affirmed that life does not terminate in death, but there is a glorious existence beyond life on earth, for which we all have to prepare.

The General Secretary of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, Apostle Abraham Ofori-Kuragu has called on the electorate to collaborate with all stakeholders to maintain peace and orderliness in the on-going biometric registration exercise and also uphold the prevailing national peace and stability in the highest esteem, and not to do anything provocative to trigger insults and violence among the people.

The President of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, Apostle Ebenezer Nsesa Abebrese, has called on the Churches to open their doors to the people within the communities in which they operate and factor their neighbours in their educational and spiritual activities to make it easier for the uneducated people to acquire knowledge about the Saviour Jesus Christ and other relevant information that affect their lives.

A magnificent church building belonging to the Trade Fair International Assembly of La District in the La Area of the church has been dedicated to the glory of God.

The two-storey church building was dedicated with a ceremony that was attended by a number of church members and Pastors in and outside the Area attracted some officials including the President, Apostle E.N. Abebrese and the former President, Apostle (Rtd) J.A. Adotey.

The National Consultative Meeting which is held annually ahead of the National Council Meeting of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, has ended at the Apostolic Resource, Conference and Retreat Centre at Frafraha, near Accra on Friday, 23rd March, 2012 with a call on participants to remain faithful to God in all their ministerial endeavours.
