As part of activities to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Apostolic Ministry in Ghana, the National Council of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, has ordained 29 ministers to advance the vision and aspirations of the Church at the Rev. S.L. Adotey Memorial Temple in Accra on 20th June, 2010.
The ordained ministers consisted of four Apostles, two Evangelists and twenty-three Pastors of the Church who have completed their terms of probation and some having served in the Pastoral ministry for many years.
Administering the charges, the President of the Church, Apostle John Annan Adotey urged the ordinands to be mindful of the high and holy calling which demands their deep sense of commitment, responsibility and accountability.
He advised them to eschew laziness, greed and pride as they work in their fields of ministry which is not devoid of challenges and troubles, adding that, the good Lord in whose Vineyard they work would equip and bless them if they consistently depended on Him.
Apostle Adotey called on the newly ordained ministers to be faithful in their services to the flocks in their care and also obedient to the National Council, which is the highest authority of the Church.
He also urged them to be consistent in teaching the history, tenets and practices of the Church at their various stations as the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Church is drawing closer to the climax in September.
