The Africa Leaders Summit (ALS) 2023 was deemed a remarkable success with unforgettable continental impact. The ALS2023 was held from Monday, August 21st to Wednesday, August 23rd at the Moba Hotel in Zambia.
ALS is a biennial gathering of National Heads of Apostolic Churches in countries on the African continent. It is aimed at sharing strategic experiences and ideas in order to sharpen Apostolic Churches on the continent for the end time harvest of souls and building of a church that reflects the first century Apostolic Church.
Leaders from different nations on the continent including Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, the Kingdom of Swaziland, Malawi, Mozambique, Ghana, Nigeria, Benin, Kenya, D. R. Congo converged. Leaders from ACUK (Apostolic Church UK) from where The Apostolic Church begun, were also present at this year’s ALS to share fellowship and reconnect with Africa in a special way.
Some of the focal areas discussed are the History and Status of The Apostolic Church in Zambia by Apostle Elias Kasonde (Zambia), How to prevent the migration of Youth from our churches by Pastor Inyang Samuel Bassey (Nigeria), The Foundational Ministry of Apostles and Prophets by Apostle Levi Moyo (Zimbabwe), Improving Ministers Welfare and Pension by Apostle Dr. Aaron Ami-Narh (Ghana), The LGBTQ+ challenge; What is the Role of the Church by Aposte D. K. Duatey Akufo (Ghana), Combating the Effect of False Doctrine on the Church in this generation by Aposte Damase Djotto (Benin), Church Finances: the Facts and Challenges by Apostle Agbeja Timothy Omoniyt (Nigeria), and Growing Significant Local Churches by Apostle Jacob Mubanga (Zambia).
It was indeed an extraordinary time of fellowship with God and one another.
The next ALS will be held in Lagos, Nigeria in August 2025.
