Pastor Prof. Ernest Teye, an associate professor at the University of Cape Coast, has recently been promoted to the rank of professor at the University of Cape Coast, School of Agriculture. In addition to his academic achievements, which include receiving the Best Evolved and Best Evolving Researcher Awards at UCC on multiple occasions, the UK Research Innovate award, the Ghana 40 under 40 Research Innovator award,
Royal overseer, as he is passionately called is also known for his steadfast commitment to faith teachings, prayer and community service. He is the pastor for The Apostolic Church-Ghana, the Royal Basilica Assembly (Akotokyir, Cape Coast), a member of the Ghana Evangelism Committee, a registered Engineer at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, a member of FAO-UNICRI. Furthermore, he is a member of the APN Steering Committee of TAC-GH, showcasing his leadership and dedication to spiritual and communal growth. Currently, he is also a research lead for rice seed and seedlings of the Asian African Consortium of Jospong group of companies.

Under Ps. Prof.Teye’s guidance, The Apostolic Church-Ghana, the Royal Basilica Assembly, has grown from glory to glory, as evidenced by the construction of a new fully furnished place of worship. He is a leader who emphasizes holistic growth and community development, extending his influence beyond academia with his popular statement, “we are going global in the power of the Holy Ghost”.
