In a strategic move to address youth unemployment and promote entrepreneurship, The Apostolic Church-Ghana (TAC-GH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA).

The partnership seeks to equip young people in and outside the church across the nation with practical and employable skills, positioning them to thrive in an increasingly competitive job market while fostering a culture of innovation and self-reliance. Thus, cubbing the high rate of unemployment in our society .

The MoU was formalized at a brief but impactful ceremony held at the Agency in Accra on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Representatives from both institutions expressed strong optimism about the collaboration, describing it as a timely and purposeful intervention aimed at bridging the growing skills gap and creating sustainable opportunities for the youth.

Representing the leadership of The Apostolic Church-Ghana at the ceremony were Pastor Ebenezer Gyamera, PhD, Director of Administration; Pastor William Affum Ani-Agyei, Manager of Operations, Social Services; and Elder Enock Ametepey, Director of Audit. Their presence underscored the Church’s unwavering commitment to initiatives that promote holistic development and economic empowerment among its members and the wider society.As part of the implementation, approximately 600 individuals across the country are expected to benefit from the programme. Participants will receive hands-on training in areas such as food processing, cereal processing, and shea butter processing, among others.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward empowering the youth with skills for sustainable livelihoods, while reinforcing the Church’s role in driving both spiritual and socio-economic transformation. This the church believes, would eliminate peer pressure, reduce the economic imbalances affecting the youth and families alike.
