The entire fellowship of The Apostolic Church-Ghana joins in celebrating Elder Johnson Semiheva, a member of AHWC, Domiabra, in the Pokuase District, Achimota Area, for his outstanding Teachers’ award at the Junior High education level.
On Friday, 12th December 2025, Elder Semiheva was adjudged Best Teacher (JHS Category) at the Ga North Municipal Education Directorate Awards Day, held at the Afankor Astroturf. The awards form part of the annual Member of Parliament’s Award Scheme, instituted by the MP for the Trobu Constituency, Gloria Owusu, to recognise and appreciate exemplary teachers within the municipality.
The award was presented by Mr. John Boadu, the former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, in the presence of distinguished guests, including Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and other public officials.
Beyond his professional excellence, Elder Johnson Semiheva is known for his strong Christian witness in the school. He consistently shares the Word of God with his pupils before lessons, firmly believing that true wisdom and understanding come from God. This conviction aligns with the scriptural exhortation in Colossians 3:23, which reminds believers to work heartily, as unto the Lord and not unto men—a principle that continues to shape his approach to teaching and mentorship.
As a devoted Christian and committed church leader, Elder Semiheva serves diligently in his District as the Men’s Movement Secretary, Property Chairman, and Building Committee Chairman for his local assembly. He is deeply concerned about the welfare, growth, and stability of the members entrusted to his care, demonstrating servant leadership both within the Church and in the wider community.
The Apostolic Church-Ghana congratulates Elder Johnson Semiheva on this well-deserved recognition and celebrates his exemplary life of service, faith, and professional excellence, which continues to bring honour to God, the Church, and the nation.
