The Apostolic Week Celebration 2026 officially begins today across The Apostolic Church-Ghana under the theme “Walking With the God of Our Fathers” (Psalm 48:14). This celebration is more than an event on the Church calendar. It is a deliberate call to pause, remember, and reconnect with the journey God has taken us through as a people.
According to the General Secretary, Apostle Alex Boateng, Apostolic Week is set aside to remind us of our past, where we have come from, the assignment God has given us, and where we are today as a Church. It is a week that invites every member to reflect on our identity as PentecostalsAs we honour the legacy of our fathers, we also remember the sacrifices that shaped the Apostolic faith we profess today. Their lives were marked by prayer, conviction, holiness, evangelism, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel. Their story is not preserved for admiration alone; it is preserved for instruction.
The theme, Walking With the God of Our Fathers, reminds us that the God who led the generations before us is the same God leading His Church today. The heritage we celebrate is not simply historical, but spiritual, living and active.
As this week unfolds, may it become a moment of remembrance, renewal, and recommitment to the God of our fathers, as we continue the assignment entrusted to this generation.
