The Revival District of The Apostolic Church-Ghana in the Ashaiman Area has on Sunday, 22nd June, dedicated a newly constructed Community Youth Church Temple, a vibrant symbol of vision, purpose, and perseverance. It is the first temple to be dedicated in the over 60 years of the church’s establishment in Ashaiman.
The journey to this glorious day began over 18 months ago, with architectural direction and consultancy led by Pastor Emmanuel Amankwa. However, its roots run deeper. The foundation was originally laid by Apostle Dr. Ben-Paul Awuku Gbeze, formerly of The Apostolic Revival Ministries, whose ministry was graciously integrated into The Apostolic Church-Ghana on the 19th December 2021. What began as a faith-filled seed is now a flourishing testimony to generational alignment and the providence of God.
The total cost of the project stood at GHC 953,657, with GHC 515,000 generously provided through private sponsorships and GHC 438,657 raised by the passionate and committed members of the one-local-district.
The new Youth Church Temple is not only architecturally sound but spiritually strategic. It features a main auditorium dedicated to youth services, two halls for the Children’s Ministry, one office each for the District Pastor or Apostle, the Administrator, and an additional office space. The building also contains four washrooms downstairs, three upstairs, and a dedicated room for nursing mothers, ensuring care for all ages and stages of the church community.
The dedication service was graced by: Apostle Dr. Aaron Ami-Narh (President, TAC-GH), First Lady Josephine D. Ami-Narh, Apostle Alex Boateng (General Secretary, TAC-GH), Leading Lady Gladys Boateng, Apostle Dr. Ben-Paul Gbeze (Rtd), and Apostle Prince P. Amanor (Ashaiman Area Superintendent). Their presence was not only ceremonial but prophetic, sealing the building and its purpose with apostolic authority and blessings.
Speaking at the ceremony on the topic “The Significance of Purpose”, Apostle Dr. Aaron Ami-Narh stated, “To fulfil your God-given purpose, you must become a student of the Word and walk in full obedience to it. Purpose without obedience leads to potential without impact.”
The dedication of the Revival District Youth Church Temple marks more than a completed project; it heralds the emergence of a new generation fully equipped to carry the Apostolic mantle.
The host ministers were, Aps. Emmanuel Armah Mensah and Ps. Christopher Nyekey. In attendance were all the Area Pastorate.
