Elder Dr. Daniel Fahene Acquaye has been appointed Chairman of the CSIR-Crop Research Institute (CRI) Board on Thursday, 19th February 2026, in Kumasi.
The CSIR-Crop Research Institute (CRI) is mandated to develop and disseminate demand-driven technologies while building capacity for sustainable food and industrial crop productivity to enhance livelihoods. As Chairman, Dr. Acquaye will lead the eight-member Board, providing strategic direction and governance oversight to one of Ghana’s foremost agricultural research institutions.
Within the Church, Elder Dr. Acquaye serves in various leadership capacities and continues to play a significant role in advancing the mission of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, particularly in the areas of professional and youth development. He currently serves as Chairman of the Apostolic Professional Network (APN), a board member of the Church’s Agroforestry Programme (ACAP), and worships at TAC Mount Zion Assembly, Asylum Down, in the Adabraka Area.
